Yacht wedding Costa Brava: say your vows at sea
A crewed yacht out of Palamós for a vow renewal, engagement sail, small elopement or anniversary on the water.
Celebrations on board
A chartered yacht suits a range of occasions beyond a standard day on the water: a vow renewal after years together, a sunset sailing engagement with just the two of you, an intimate elopement ceremony witnessed only by the crew, or a bridal party and honeymoon charter stretched over several days. The open deck and uninterrupted horizon do the work that a venue would otherwise need decor to achieve.
A skipper is aboard for every charter, handling navigation and timing so the day runs to plan. For week-long celebrations a hostess or chef joins the crew, taking care of meal service and the practical side of hosting guests across multiple days at sea.
A single-day outing — a proposal sail, a short ceremony, an anniversary afternoon — starts from 900 €. A week-long crewed celebration, covering a wedding party or an extended honeymoon route along the Costa Brava, runs from 8,000 € to 40,000 € plus APA, depending on the yacht and season. Exact pricing is confirmed once we know your date, guest count and the occasion.

Planning a celebration at sea
How many guests can we bring for a ceremony or toast on board?
It depends on the yacht confirmed for your date, since the fleet ranges from 12 to 20 metres across sailing yachts, catamarans and motor yachts. Tell us the guest count when you enquire and we'll match it to a yacht with enough deck space for a seated toast or a standing ceremony.
Can we arrange catering or styling for the occasion?
Catering is arranged through APA on weekly charters, or by direct agreement for a single-day celebration. Flowers, a cake or simple decor for a toast can be organised the same way — mention what you have in mind when you send your enquiry.
Can we change our ceremony date if the forecast turns bad?
Yes — for celebrations booked well ahead, we can usually offer an alternative date or a later slot in the same week if conditions look unworkable. This is discussed directly once a date is set, rather than decided on the day.
How far ahead should we book a wedding or elopement charter?
The usual lead time is 4 weeks, but a ceremony or small wedding party should book 8 or more weeks ahead for July and August, when yacht and crew availability is tightest. Earlier enquiries have more choice of yacht and date.
Is a sunset sailing engagement different from a day charter booking?
The sailing itself follows the same day-charter structure, timed instead to end around sunset. The difference is in the detail — flowers, a photographer, or a quiet stretch of water reserved for the moment — which we plan once you share the occasion.
